We’re absolutely thrilled to finally bring Lucy Dreaming to PS4 and PS5. It’s been an absolute joy watching players fall in love with Lucy’s story since its initial release, and we can’t wait to share her world with a whole new audience of gamers.
Further to the game’s arrival on PlayStation, Lucy Dreaming is undergoing a major update to add further localisation options across all platforms.
Now, French, Spanish, and Italian players will now be able to laugh, smile, and groan in all the same places as English and German-speaking players, with localisations crafted for cultural authenticity.
Careful attention has been paid to translating the game’s wit, wordplay, and cultural quirks, ensuring that jokes and puns work naturally in other languages, rather than being simply translated.
This has been a lot of work for everyone involved, and we would like to applaud the incredible Christophe Pallares, Fabio “Guga” Guggeri and Concha Fernández for the tremendous effort they’ve put into localising all the ridiculous concepts, puns and made-up words in our game.
We’ve poured so much heart into this game, and we’re excited for more people to experience its humour, puzzles, and charm for the first time.
