We have hidden a few hidden references and Easter eggs in the new Lucy Dreaming demo, but one of them offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity if you find it!
Find this one before 30th September 2021 and you’ll be given instructions on how to enter the competition which could land you a starring role in the full game as an interactive NPC (non-player character).
Not only that, in addition to appearing in the game as a pixel-art character, you will also receive a FREE copy of the full game when it is released, and your name will appear in the credits.
So, what are you waiting for? Go find that egg!*

Terms & conditions
I’m no lawyer, so I’ll just spell out the terms I have thought of below.
Find the Easter egg – It is well-hidden in the demo, but there are subtle clues that could point you in the right direction. Once you find it, you will be given instructions on how to enter. If you have any questions about the competition, please contact us via email, Discord or Twitter.
It’s a draw – One person will be picked at random from all of the valid entries using a number generated from random.org. The draw will take place and the winner will be announced before the full game is released – this date is subject to change, but the date for final entries is 30th September 2021.
It’s not set in stone – The terms of this competition are subject to change at any time, but it would take something pretty serious for that to happen.
No cash alternative – The winner will receive a digital download of the full game via an activation key for Steam or Itch.io. I won’t be able to offer any cash alternatives for the game.
I won’t publish the winner’s full name or details anywhere without permission, but if you enter the competitiom, you are agreeing for me to use a contracted version of your name in the announcement (e.g. “Miss J. Doe”) or alternatively I’m happy to post the winner’s Twitter/Instagram handle instead.
Only one entry per person. – Clans are welcome, but in terms of a winner… There can be only ONE!
Demo testers and proofreaders aren’t eligible – Sorry, but if you tested or proofed the demo for me, you can’t enter. it wouldn’t be fair. 🙁
Don’t ruin everyone else’s fun – If you manage to find the Easter egg, please don’t publish or share explicit instructions or spoilers on how you found it or entered the competition. Doing so will void your entry, you naughty gunter.
Clans and streams are welcome – I know this kind of conflicts with the point above, but you’re welcome to run a live stream where you collaborate to hunt for the Easter egg – just don’t then publish the stream as some kind of “egg hunting strategy guide” or spoiler.
* Not a real egg.
